How lovely is this???

I am holding a jewellery party at one of the "Yummie Mummys" (my name for all the mums that became very good friends) I have missed them all so much since the move! It has been 8 months since the move, Which seems bizarre. I am extra excited to see them all. I set myself up at the kitchen table with some beading mags and looked for some inspiration and here is an adapted version of one in the magazine. It is slightly different as i didn't have the exact beads or chain size, but i am trying to be frugal. So I'm avoiding craft stores until i have used up some of my masses of beads!

I'm pleased with the outcome, the bracelet looks chunky on your wrist, but not OTT. It is a nice splash of colour in our grey winter, I cant wait to put it on my table at the jewellery party.

My New Project

This is one idea design (from a pool of many) of the gift buckets I have been working on. I'm very happy with it!

It looks so sweet and is perfect for a new baby. Of course this idea could be adapted for any occasion.

I designed the "YUMMIE MUMMIE" handbag charm just using the pink tones to pick out the colour of the teddy.

i have finally oved!

Well i have been AWOL for a few months! on the 23rd of June we moved!!! yay.

We finally stepped on to the property ladder and moved 52 miles from our previous home!! That's a bit scary... we have now settled so i decided to up date my blog!

Our new home is sooo close to fantastic walks, and beautiful views all of which will be my inspiration over the next few years I'm sure.

I did very well at my jewellery party (as noted in my last blog!) and I'm planning to hold my next one fairly soon.

I have been working on a few projects that seem to be taking over my life, but i can't seem to finish any of them. This is slightly due to the fact that we are also decorating our living room...lol to many things in one go is never a good idea!

So i will be adding some new pictures of my started projects and any others that take my fancy in a bit. The picture above was taken in my garden last week, I love the colours and this will definitely be a combination i use in my next piece of jewellery.

AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH My camera has broken!!

My camera has broken!!! I feel so lost without it. I am having a jewellery party on Wednesday and i wanted to take some pics of the night. I will think of something!!!! I took this pic with my mobile phone so the colour doesn't come across at all. it is part of my "oh so vintage" range. lol.

To top of the whole camera thing, my mobile has broken too!!

woooohooooooo my blog

Well what can i say? This is my blog! I'm part of the Krafty Kow Klan...lol with "The mother and sister in law" I branched in a different direction of creativity and came up with jewellery.

This is one of my favourite pass times (along with a glass or 2 of vino) But i can give one piece of advise and that is only start beading if you want to get addicted!

The bracelet and earrings set above was a recent one, on a visit to the lovely Dorset. A statement piece that looks really lovely and of course a "one off"
